Cabin crew training complete

It’s been 2 weeks since the end of 5 weeks of training and what felt like an eternity of exams for my next set of adventures..taking to the skies! Excitement and nerves have merged into one, and my case is in the first few stages of being packed for my first flight tomorrow.

The training course was full of lots of info, from company introductions, to uniform fittings, to aircraft visits, to SEP training, to first aid practicals, to service training, numerous exams and 100’s of questions. We learnt the ins and outs of everything from delivering a baby on board, to ditching an aircraft, to putting out a fire in the cabin, to pilot incapacitation, to selling duty free and running through pre-flight briefings. Who knew there was so much to know and so many people to meet, especially being new to aviation.

Our group was trained on the A320, A321 and A330 so our summers will be made up of short medium and long haul journeys to some fab destinations which is exciting!! Our wings day soon came around, which was a nice way to celebrate the end of the course and the start of our time off before getting ready for our first flights!

My first months roster has been released and is full with turnarounds from Manchester as well as home standby’s, so back to the gym I go..finally! I am also off to the embassy in London to get my crew visa for the A330!

This month I will be flying to Enfidha (Tunisia) / Naples (Italy) / Antalya (Turkey) / Kos (Greece) / Hurghada (Egypt).
