“Your seat belts should be fastened whenever the fasten seat belt signs are illuminated” ** que panic about not being able to open the belt when all eyes are on you**.
So, it’s been a quick 2 months since finishing my initial training, and I feel like I definitely made the right decision in coming flying!
I am 12 turnarounds in, and I have managed to rotate around different positions and visit a number of different destination airports, drinking my body weight in water along the way. It is so different to anything I have done before but never have I been more into timings, reverse planning and lip gloss.
I have been quite lucky in getting lots of days off and time to rest in between flights as the early morning check-ins are hard (I mean the early early ones)! Me in heels at 3.30am hasn’t been as much of a fail as I thought it would be, and I have realised that I can sleep at any time during the day. Apart from that, so far so good!!
My roster for this month is really exciting as I have my supernumerary flight on the A330 to Orlando. I have also been given another clear day in Orlando as well as a Punta Cana bullet and trip to Stansted before going to Vegas!! 🇺🇸 🇩🇲
