10 places I want to visit soon

10 places I want to visit soon

When I look at my to-do list for my whole life, I pretty much find a list of places to I want to visit and if I had unlimited money and time I would be there faster than anything!

Even though I am finishing the last 6 months of my degree and should most probably be writing law essays, I am writing this blog instead and thinking about where to go next and after that, and after that.

  1. Reykjavik, Iceland

Seeing the Northern lights is high up on my bucket list and would be amazing to combine it with visiting the geothermal spa Blue Lagoon. Plus I got money for my 21st birthday to take a trip there so I am not sure what I am waiting for really.

  1. Australia

As it is probably one of the furthest places to go I would love to go to the other side of the world and see how different life is over there. I would love to go swimming in the Great Barrier Reef, visit Sydney, go strawberry picking, experience Christmas on the beach and visit friends who live over there. Maybe a hiring a car / camper van would be needed for the trip.

  1. Budapest, Hungary

Since visiting Prague in the summer I have now added Budapest onto my list of places to go to. It is famous for its thermal baths and nightlife as well as really old fashioned buildings and monuments. If it is anything like Prague I already know I would love it.

  1. New York, USA

There are so many places in New York I would love to visit. After watching so many rom-com’s I want to experience the city and do all the touristy things. I would love to go to
Central park, Times Square, Grand Central Station, Brooklyn Bridge and the 9/11 memorial. Friends that have visited have said it is amazing and I would definitely tie my trip with visiting camp friends who live in the states.

  1. Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro

With my Kilimanjaro climb all booked and organised and just the fundraising to go, I am so excited to go to Africa. Going on a safari and getting up close to an elephant has always seemed unrealistic but it is going to happen in the summer as well as trekking through the rainforest in Tanzania. The only thing I am not looking forward to is the list of injections.

  1. Croatia

After seeing photos of the national parks online I really want to visit. It looks really warm and picturesque and Krka National Park looks so pretty. I would also like to experience a festival abroad at some point and Croatia hold a few in the summer.

  1. Santorini, Greek Island

I have never been to Greece but would love a beach holiday there at some point. Santorini beaches and villages looks so nice! The weather and the clear blue waters and the food are supposed to be amazing.

  1. Amsterdam, The Netherland’s

For some reason I feel like I have missed out on seeing typical Europe by not visiting Amsterdam. I would like to visit Anne frank’s house and go on a canal cruise as well as riding a bike around the city and experiencing the nightlife.

  1. Oslo, Norway

After visiting some suprising places when Inter-railing it made me want to see more of Europe. I think I would enjoy a city break in Oslo as it seems totally random and has a lot of museums and is by the waterside and I heard that Norwegian food and alcohol is great.

  1. Thailand, South East Asia

I always see photos and gap year programs from Thailand and it seems amazing to go and explore. Phi-Phi Island is where I would like to visit the most as well as going to a full moon party on a tropical beach. I already have a backpack, I love the sun and sandy beaches and I love elephants so I should really just go.

Even just writing this has made me excited for planning my next trip! Someday I will travel the world, I am not sure when or how but it will happen!
